What a great experience!! I am so happy with the work they did, my pool hasn't looked as good since the day it was built 18 yrs ago! First time working with Bullfrog and I was not disappointed. They were responsive, easy to work with and communicated very well. The pool looked fantastic and they did a great job. What really impressed me was their professionalism and attention to detail. Watching the calcium getting blasted obviously creates a lot of dust. I was fully expecting to have to wiped everything down afterward, but much to my surprise, when the pool cleaning was complete, their tech had powerwashed all the hardscape and dusted all the furniture. Nice touch indeed. Would highly recommend. First class all the way!

I feel like it was a "Bait & Switch" endeavor. My 107 ft perimeter pool was bid at $770 to drain the pool ($200 plus 10 pump rental) and the rest to remove the 2" ring around pool calcium build up. When technician arrived he said that it would take approx 4 hours to remove the calcium build up and clean up. He "tested" the calcium build up and determined the build up was more extensive than anticipated so requiring more product to be used, thus increasing the bid by $210.00 (27% higher bid.) I complained to the company, because now I felt stuck, the pool was already emptied of water and they had a blurb in the original proposal that noted any additional treatment needed after the "testing" would be $107 ($1.00/ft, NOT $1.50/ft) so they did agree to give me $80 off the adjusted bid bringing the amount to $902. I still felt they placed me between a rock and a hard place so agreed to the up-charge. The technician proceeded and it took him 3 hours to complete the treatment (less time than he had told me at the start of the job) and cleanup. I complained again, because generally in my experience it is the LABOR, not the PRODUCT that makes up the majority of the costs. They said the price increase was do to the product costs. The company must have quite a mark up on their product to explain why it literally took just about 1 1/2 hours to remove the calcium deposit and 3 hours for the entire job that day. So BUYER BEWARE, you may be charged for quite a bit more than you sign on for. Side note: I did have 2 other bids from companies that would have used glass beads they both said my calcium build up was not that bad. Their bids were close to Bullfrog Pools bid, but I chose Bullfrog as it made sense to use a "sand like substance" instead of glass beads. The next time I do this I will buy my own pump and try out a product from Harbor Freight that they sell as a kit. The sad thing is that I still have calcium deposits on the hot tub spillway that they line item-ed that charge as $79 to treat the 3 foot section between the hot tube and pool (6ft linear +top)

Bullfrog came and did an excellent job with removing calcium and repairs. The technician, Saul, did such a great job, my pool looks brand new! Highly recommended!!!
